Axiom College provided relevant, succinct training which allowed my son to successfully complete a school based traineeship. This partnership gave him an amazing opportunity to gain confidence, credible qualifications and industry training that has launched his career post school. I did the Business Admin 3 course to help me reenter the workforce and I found the course a great way to update my skills and get back into a work mode. It took me a little bit to get back into it and I was a little confused with some early online testing, that actually wasn't meant to be used,so once I realised it was reading, trying and applying what I'd learned- I got into the course much easie r. Just check with your assessor if there are any units undergoing changes or updates. Also in some areas you may need to do a little extra research or tutorials on certain elements like Excel or PowerPoint if you have never used them before. But I think that is a useful skill to utilise too. I found the trainers/assessors were very approachable through both email and phone calls. Would be happy to recommend Axiom to my friends.

RPL is an opportunity for you to have previously acquired skills formally recognised. RPL skills may have been acquired through practical work, life experience or formal education. In order to have these skills recognised, you will need to be able to clearly define these skills and provide evidence of your experience and ability against criteria specific to the unit/s you wish to RPL. This evidence may take the form of a demonstration of skills and/ or samples of previous work.
Assessment will only be carried out for accredited training where a qualification, statement of attainment or licence may be issued.
Assessment will be carried out on the submission of completed unit/s of competency or under the RPL processes to ascertain whether the participant can be deemed ‘competent’.
Assessment evidence submitted by the student will be marked and feedback given advising whether the evidence is satisfactory (successful) or unsatisfactory (unsuccessful). Additional feedback may be provided as required. All evidence is retained by Axiom College.
Axiom College has implemented an automated system for receiving Assessments from students who do not complete their work in class or upload them via their student portal.
This is an electronic method that requires students to email all evidence. If documents are emailed with an incorrect subject line, there may be a delay in them being formally received and acknowledged. If this happens, an email will be sent back to the student requesting they resubmit with the correct information in the subject line of the email. Assessments received correctly will have confirmation emailed to the student.
The Student Support Centre aims to deliver an integrated professional service to all students and employers. This is achieved by providing quality customer service to enhance the overall learning experience.
The Support team provides support, guidance and advice to learners and employers for any queries or online technical issues they may encounter.
