Axiom College congratulate their state finalists in the 2010 Queensland Training Awards
Axiom College are celebrating the announcement of two of their graduates, who were both selected as state finalists for the prestigious Queensland Training Awards for 2010 held in September. Already in its 49th year, these awards encourage and recognise the hard work and amazing efforts individuals are making to society.
A Great Experience 2008 - Brisbane - "Train, retain and see your business grow"
Bernice Higgins' outlined recent survey results by the NCVER regarding traineeships in her presentation to the Inner West Chamber of Commerce membership. Bernice's presentation "Train, Retain and see your business grow" outlined the benefits of traineeships offered by AXiOM College, along with the results of interviews with employers (small, medium and large) who currently have trainees. The results revealed that Small business, and Qld business rated training by private providers high than other providers, while 85% of small companies are satisfied or very satisfied with traineeships meeting their skill needs. |

Ten Young People – the chance of a lifetime!
One of Queensland's most exciting registered training organisations; AXiOM College, the National Australia Bank and ICET have joined forces to give 10 young people the opportunity of a lifetime.
On Monday 28 June, one of Queensland's most innovative registered training organisations, Axiom College, will be involved in a new and exciting training program. Fifteen students from ESS Indigenous Training Employment Program (ITEP) will commence a fiveweek Hospitality Training Course at Axiom College's Townsville campus. ESS Support Services Worldwide (ESS) is a division of Compass Group, the Worlds largest Foodservice Provider. |
